- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button. Type "regedit" into the search text box and press "Enter." This opens your registry editor.
- 2). Navigate to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\" key in your registry. In the center detail window, double-click the "Registration" key. This opens a configuration window.
- 3). Type your new registration key into the "Value" text box. Click "OK" to save your settings. Reboot your computer for the registry settings to take effect.
