It’s a good idea to go through your PC from time to time and remove unwanted programs. Even though storage space isn’t as much of an issue as it once was, removing programs from your PC helps to keep things clean.
Your computer isn’t the only device that occasionally ends up with programs that you no longer use: You should also consider removing unwanted programs from your PDA from time to time. Here, we’ll show you how to remove programs that you no longer use.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: as little as 5 minutes
Here's How:
- To remove an unwanted program from your Windows Mobile PDA, simply tap Start, select Settings, and then navigate to the System tab.
- From the System tab, scroll down and tap Remove Programs.
- You will then see a listing of all programs installed on your PDA. To remove a program, select it and then tap the Remove button.
- Alternatively, you can remove a program from your PDA using ActiveSync on your computer. Connect your PDA to your computer by means of a sync cable, and then open ActiveSync.
- After a connection has been established between your device and your PC, click Tools and select Add/Remove Programs. You’ll then have the option to select and remove programs as you see fit.
Tips:
- By reviewing the list of programs that are installed on your PDA every now and then, and removing unwanted programs, your PDA will have space for other, more important files.
- Clearing programs will restore space, giving you extra room for songs, pictures, and important files.
- Clearing programs will also help de-clutter the Programs listing on your PDA.
- For older PDAs that don’t have a lot of storage, clearing unwanted programs can be especially helpful.
