The HP Compaq Slimline Reviewed

The HP Compaq Slimline range has amassed from the 3000 series to the current 5000 series, both carried under the HP badge despite HP's merger with Compaq.
The s3000 series The s3000 series has been around for a bit and there are over 400 different Slimline pC's in this range alone worldwide.
The s3000 series has been discontinued with mostly reputable retailers selling off their last few s3000 series such as the still highly acclaimed s3530 and s3700f.
All Slimline desktops in this series come in at just 27.
6cm high and 10.
7cm wide, which is basically no bigger than a preschool bag.
Like all those in its family the HP Compaq s3000 series fits almost anywhere with the option of standing either upright or on its side.
It spots a hip blue illuminating line light and can look really good in any corner of your house and if blue is not your color there's the Slimline s5000 series with a hip green illuminating line light.
Despite this series now being out of production, as with almost all of HP Compaq's Slimline's, it does provide value for money as compared to its all-in-one bigger desktop competitors.
The newer s5000 series The HP Compaq s5000 series was as put in HP's own words, "Designed to be stylish and elegant yet powerful in performance", and to be honest it does deliver and in some aspects even exceeds expectations with powerful little giants such as the s5260f out performing all most all known competition.
There have been eleven s5000 desktops launched since June 2009 with the s5160f receiving various awards especially for design as it spots a sleek, black, high gloss piano finish and ambient green light that even when you are not using it you cannot help but look at and smile.
Some forums have called the Slimline s5000 series "charismatic" and yes for a small little fellow you cannot help but feel attracted of him.
In sum the HP Compaq Slimline is amongst the best in the world of small factor form computers not to mention one on the best looking as well.
