- 1). Click the Start button on your desktop, then select Run from the pop-up menu.
- 2). Type "dxdiag" in the window and click OK. Information regarding your DirectX software appears on the screen.
- 3). Look at the DirectX window to see what version of the application you are running. Once you know, you can close the window.
