- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button on your local computer from which you want to connect. Select "All Programs," then "RealVNC," then "VNC Viewer" and finally click "Run VNC Viewer."
- 2). Type the terminal server name in the "Server" text box. This text box also keeps track of your connections, so if you have connected previously, select the computer name from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Click "OK." A connection is made and you are prompted for the terminal computer's user name and password to access from VNC. Enter your information and click "OK."
- 4). Double-click a desktop icon on the remote terminal computer. This tests your connection and ensures that you are able to remotely control the desktop mouse and keyboard.
