How to Get DVD Cover Art Into Windows Media Center

    • 1). Open a DVD case and slip out the sheet of cover art from inside the protective plastic sleeve.

    • 2). Place the cover art face down on a scanner connected to your computer.

    • 3). Press the "Scan" button on the scanner control panel to digitize the cover art and display on your computer monitor.

    • 4). Create a folder called DVD Cover Art, or whatever you wish, and save the image in the folder. Create a folder by opening the "My Pictures" folder on your computer and choosing "Make a New Folder" from the list of options on the left.

    • 5). Save the scanned DVD cover art as an image file in a folder on your computer by clicking "Save As," then choosing the type of image file you wish to save, such as .jpeg. Save the image in your DVD Cover Art folder.

    • 6). Launch Windows Media Center, which will automatically scan your computer folders for updated content and import the new file containing your DVD cover art. Each time you scan additional DVD cover art and save the images to your My Pictures folder, Windows Media Center will automatically add them to your existing media center folder of DVD cover art.
