- 1). Insert a SharePoint Services installation disc into your computer.
- 2). Click "Start," then "Computer," and click the drive letter of the optical drive where you inserted the disc. Click the "Installation" folder and click "prerequisiteinstaller.exe."
- 3). Click "Next," select "Accept" for the license terms, and click "Finish" when complete.
- 4). Double-click "Setup.exe," click "Accept," then click "Install Now."
- 5). Click "Run the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard Now" and select "Close." Follow the onscreen instructions to configure your computer under SharePoint, including selecting a passphrase and choosing whether you want to upgrade the visual layout of SharePoint.
