- 1). Click the "Start" menu and then go into the "Control Panel." Click the "Uninstall a Program" or "Add or Remove Programs" that is under the Programs option at the bottom of the window. Wait for the list of installed programs to appear.
- 2). Select the Computer Associates eTrust Agent from the list. Click the "Uninstall" or the "Remove" button.
- 3). Follow the instructions on the screen to remove the program. Reboot your computer, if prompted, to complete the process.
- 1). Click the "Start" menu and then go to the "Run" option. Type in "UnVet32.exe" and then click the "OK" button or press the "Enter" key. This will start the automatic removal tool for the program.
- 2). Observe the process that is running on the screen. Make a note on a piece of paper of any files that the removal tool was not able to automatically delete.
- 3). Click the "Start" button and then select the "Computer" or "My Computer" option. Double-click the icon for the Local Disk (C:). Navigate to the files that the removal tool was not able to delete.
- 4). Right-click on a file and select "Delete" from the context menu. Click "OK" when the confirmation window is displayed.
