- 1). Lay the six pieces of cord out, placing the same-colored pairs next to each other. Tie a loose knot at one end of the cords, leaving about 1/2 inch of cord sticking out of the other end of the knot. Tape the knot to the table.
- 2). Fan the pieces of cord out on the table, mentally labeling them 1 to 6 from left to right. Take cord No.1 from the left and loop it over and then under cord 2, holding cord 2 taut. Pull cord 1 back over itself to form a tight knot at the top of cord 2. Repeat the step again using the same two cords to form a double knot at the top of cord 2. Again using cord 1, form double knots at the top of each of the remaining cords using the same method.
- 3). Take cord 2 and double knot it at the top of cord 3 using the same method as above, and continue to double knot cord 2 at the top of each remaining cord. String a charm on to one of the cords at the outside edge of your bracelet ensuring that it faces the desired direction when you have reached the approximate middle (measure your bracelet on your wrist as you go), or add multiple charms at evenly spaced intervals along the bracelet. Continue knotting in the same pattern as previously, continuing with the rest of the cords until you have reached the desired length in your bracelet, which should fit snugly, but not too tightly, around your wrist.
- 4). Tie one end of the lobster clasp into the end of the bracelet by passing the two middle strings through the hole in the clasp and knotting all of the strands together. Untape the other end of the bracelet from the table and undo the loose knot. Tie in the other end of the lobster clasp using the same method as above. Wrap the bracelet around your wrist and clasp the ends together.
