Hi, I'm Linda Hutchinson. Today, I'm going to show you how you can make a hair clip using chiffon. So I have some chiffon fabric here that I just kind of rolled up. I'll show you how. Just take a little square fabric and roll it up roughly like this. Then I'm going to take the part that has the seam and put it on the bottom and fold it in on itself like this to form a little bow. So then you have a cute little puffy chiffon bow. So now I'm going to take some satin ribbon and this is the tricky part with one person to try to hold it in place and tie this around it. You may have to try a few times to get it neatly. But that's okay, the finished product will be worth it. A lot of times people have said to me that you must have a lot of patience to do crafts. I'm probably one of the least patient people around but if you just keep at it it's a very satisfying feeling to have something pretty that you created. So it's worth it. So now I have the ribbon tied around here and I'm just going to go ahead and tie a double knot to secure that. Okay. Now I'm going to take a little hot glue and glue the back of this. There's a few threads there I'm just going to trim off. Sometimes chiffon can unravel like that, so just go ahead and put some hot glue and put it to the barrette blank, holding it in place for a moment to make sure it's secure. Any threads from the hot glue you can remove later. But I see some more threads here from the actual chiffon we will remove. Then I'm going to go back to the front here. I'm going to take my satin ribbon and just kind of trim it on the diagonal like this and then I'm going to go ahead and take this pretty little rose and hot glue it to the center. I'm going to take some nippers and cut off the wire right at the base, apply some hot glue, generously, on the back of the flower and place it right in the center of my bow like this. Placing it and pressing it down securely while the glue dries. And there you have a cute little bow barrette made from chiffon fabric. My name is Linda Hutchinson, thank you so much for joining me. Bye bye.
