- 1). Pour the sea salt into the bucket, and then fill the bucket with water. Put the jeans into the bucket, and let them soak for two days.
- 2). Take the jeans out of the bucket, wring them out and lay them on a flat surface.
- 3). Drag the sandpaper up and down the jeans in whichever spots you choose. The knees and backside are good places to start.
- 4). Cut a horizontal slice in the denim on one of the knees. Cut one or more smaller slices just below the first slice.
- 5). Drag the sandpaper back and forth over the cuts you just made.
- 6). Wash and dry the jeans.
- 7). Attach the key chain to two belt loops on one side, letting the chain hang low. Stuff a bandanna into one of the back pockets, and try on your jeans.
