- 1). Press and hold the button with the red telephone handset on it on the front of the LG Xenon until the phone screen goes blank to turn off the phone. The button is the furthest-right button on the front of the phone.
- 2). Push down on the battery cover attached to the back of the LG Xenon and slide the cover toward the top of the phone to remove it.
- 3). Place your finger in the space between the battery and the phone near the top of the battery compartment and lift the battery out of the compartment.
