- 1). Use a stud finder on the wall you want to hang your VuePoint TV. Mark the position of the two vertical studs you want to use. Place the mounting plate flat against the wall over the wall studs and position a wall level on top to make sure the positioning of the mounting plate is straight.
- 2). Insert the lag bolts that came with the wall mount through the mounting holes of the wall plate and screw them into the wall studs with a wrench until they are tightly screwed into the wall and support the mounting plate.
- 3). Turn the TV set around so you can easily access the back. Place the mounting brackets against the back of the TV so the holes of the bracket line up with the VESA holes of the TV. VESA is a pattern of mounting location holes on the back of a plasma or LCD TV. Insert the VESA screws through the brackets into the back of the TV's VESA holes. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screw driver.
- 4). Carry the TV with the mounting brackets attached to the back over to the mounting plate you installed on the wall in Step 2. Slide the brackets into place on the wall plate's connector and insert the security screws. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
