- 1). Purchase a 3.5 mm to RCA cable. This will allow you to connect the single Line Out on your sound card to the Line In on your amplifier.
- 2). Connect the single mini-jack end of the cable to the sound card's output or computer's headphone jack.
- 3). Connect both the left and right RCA cable ends into the amplifier's Line In connections.
- 4). Connect your speakers to the amplifier using speaker cable. Use the appropriate output for the left and right speakers, and match the polarities on both the speakers and amplifier.
- 5). Test out your new setup. Plug in the amp, turn on both the computer and amp and select an audio source. You'll now be able to send a line level signal from your computer to the amplifier where the amplifier will power it and drive the speakers. Give it a listen to see how it sounds, and adjust settings to your preference.
