- 1). Access the Recycle Bin by double-clicking its icon on the Windows desktop. It will resemble a translucent "trash bin."
- 2). Permanently delete a single file by right-clicking the file and selecting "Delete." Confirm your actions by clicking "OK" in the pop-up box.
- 3). Permanently delete selected files by using a combination of the "CTRL" key + "left-click" mouse button to highlight individual files. After selecting and highlighting the final file, transition to right-clicking that last file to expose a pop-up menu. Select "Delete" and confirm by clicking "OK" in the pop-up box.
- 4). Permanently delete all files by selecting the "Empty the Recycle Bin" button in the Recycle Bin window.
