- 1). Use an image editing software program to resize a photo to 2 inches by 2 inches. You can make it larger if you have a bigger magnet or don't mind the photo overhanging the magnet somewhat.
- 2). Print the photo on heavy card stock using a laser or ink-jet printer. Cut around the picture with scissors to trim it to size.
- 3). Cut two pieces of clear contact paper large enough to cover your photo. Peel the backing off one sheet and lay the photo flat against it, face down. Peel the backing off the other sheet and place it over the back of your photo, sandwiching the photo between the two pieces of contact paper. Trim around the edges with scissors, leaving a slight lip all the way around the photo where the two sheets of contact paper stick together.
- 4). Squeeze a dot of hot glue or tacky glue on the nonmagnetized side of the magnet.
- 5). Press the back side of the laminated photo against the magnet. Let the glue dry completely before sticking the magnet to your refrigerator.
