- 1). Fill a spray bottle halfway with white vinegar. You can dilute the vinegar if your stains are not severe. If you want to dilute it, use a mixture of one part vinegar to five parts water.
- 2). Spray the vinegar or vinegar solution directly onto the shower door, saturating the limescale. Leave the vinegar there for 30 minutes. Observe the vinegar every five minutes to ensure the surface of the limescale is still damp. If it begins to dry, spray it again to keep the surface moist for the full 30 minutes.
- 3). Scrub away the limescale gently, using the sponge.
