- 1). Vacuum or sweep up any loose dirt.
- 2). Mix 1 cup each of salt, baking soda and vinegar in a plastic tub and use a soft sponge to rub the mixture over the tile.
- 3). Clean tight areas around and behind the fixtures with cotton swabs.
- 4). Dip a clean sponge in lemon juice and go over the tiles. This will remove any residue, leave a fresh smell and help protect against mildew.
- 1). Vacuum or sweep up any loose dirt.
- 2). Mop the floor with a microfiber mop and plain water, or add a few drops of dishwashing liquid.
- 3). Rinse the mop as soon as it becomes dirty to avoid spreading the dirt around.
- 4). Go over the floor one last time with plain water to make sure you got everything up.
