- 1). Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time to launch the Task Manager.
- 2). Click the "Processes" tab in Task Manager's window to view the system processes running in the background.
- 3). Click "psecurity.exe" in the "Processes" box and then the "End Process" button.
- 4). Close the Task Manager.
- 1). Click the "Start" menu, type "regedit" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter" to start the Registry Editor. This is also a built-in utility for system registry management.
- 2). Browse to the following registry entries and delete them:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\post platform "WinTSI 01.12.2009" - 3). Close the Registry Editor.
- 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "cmd" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter" to start the command line prompt.
- 2). Type "regsvr32 /u filename.dll" in the command line prompt window and press "Enter" to unregister the DLL (Dynamic-Link Library) file.
- 3). Close the command line window.
- 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "psecurity.exe" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter." Delete all search results.
- 2). Repeat Step 1 for "Uninstall.lnk," "win32extension.dll," "Computer Scan.lnk," "Help.lnk," "Personal Security.lnk," "Registration.lnk," "Settings.lnk," "Update.lnk" and "PSecurity."
- 3). Restart your computer when finished.
