- 1). Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software on the computer. Plug the BlackBerry into a free USB port on the computer using the USB connector cable that shipped with the device. The BlackBerry registers to the desktop manager software. A Lotus Notes login screen opens.
- 2). Type your password and click "OK." The BlackBerry Desktop Manager main screen appears.
- 3). Click the "Synchronize" button. The Synchronization screen opens.
- 4). Click the "Synchronization" option under the "Configure" heading in the left navigation pane. The Synchronization Configuration screen opens.
- 5). Check the box in front of the "Address Book" option and click "OK." The Synchronize screen reopens.
- 6). Click the "Synchronize" button. Your address book (contact list) is synchronized between the Lotus Notes client and the BlackBerry.
