- 1). Wrap the larger metal ring in the leather cording until no metal is showing, gluing the cord to the ring to secure. Cut the cording. Repeat for the smaller ring.
- 2). Tie the thread around the larger ring and add a small drop of glue to secure. Place the smaller ring in the center of the larger ring.
- 3). Thread a pony bead, a bone bead and another pony bead on the thread. Pull up to the smaller center ring and wrap the thread around the smaller ring. Bead the thread again in the same manner and pull down to the larger ring, wrapping the thread around the larger ring. Add a drop of glue in each spot where the thread wraps around the ring to secure. Repeat until the thread reaches back to the starting point of the larger ring. Tie and cut the thread, adding a drop of glue to secure.
- 4). Tie the thread around the smaller ring and wrap back and forth in the center of the smaller ring. Add seed beads where you want them, securing into place with a drop of glue. Continue wrapping the thread and adding beads until the desired look is achieved.
- 5). Glue the large flat shell to the center of the sun catcher.
- 6). Tie the leather cording around the top of the sun catcher to make a hoop for hanging.
