- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Documents." This lists your private documents and folders. Double-click or right-click the folder you want to share on the workgroup.
- 2). Click the "Share With" button at the top of the window. Choose the "Specific People" menu option. This opens a new dialog box.
- 3). Select a specific workgroup group or people from the list of users. Choose "Everyone" if you want to allow all people to view and edit the file.
- 4). Click "OK" to save your share settings. This shares the folder on the network and limits access to the group or people you chose from the access list.
