- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Settings." Click the "Control Panel" shortcut in the Settings menu. After the Control Panel displays, double-click "Add/Remove Programs."
- 2). Click the button labeled "Add/Remove Windows Components" on the left side of the screen. A window loads with a list of currently installed components on your Windows 2000 machine.
- 3). Click the check box labeled "Terminal Services." This marks Terminal Services for installation. Click the "Next" button to start the wizard. It only takes a few seconds to install the Terminal Services client and server application.
- 4). Click "Finish" after the software installation completes. Terminal Services is now installed on Windows 2000.
