- 1). Download the free demo of Excel Password Recovery, Free Word/Excel Password Recovery Wizard or Easy Excel Password Recovery Free.
- 2). Double-click the icon for the downloaded software and follow the instructions to install it on your computer.
- 3). Open the software and click the "Browse" or "Select a File" button to locate the Excel file for which you want to recover the password.
- 4). Click "Recover" or "Go" to begin the password recovery process. This may take several minutes.
