I sometimes wonder what makes people do the things that they do.
I'm serious.
They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over.
And yet, when it comes to relationships, that's all people do...
the same thing over and over.
And then they wonder why their relationships all go sour.
Well, if you're reading this, you probably just broke up with your ex and you're hoping for a reconciliation.
Okay, but if that's going to happen, you better prepare yourself with some words of wisdom.
Take it from an old pro at relationships.
Okay, so what went wrong? Do you even know? Look, I understand that when you're in the midst of a relationship and things are starting to unravel, you get all worked up and it's hard to take a step back and look at what's actually going on.
But that's what you have to do.
If you didn't do it during the relationship, you have to do it now.
And the key thing is...
you have to be honest with yourself.
I know it's easy to want to blame everything on your ex, but let's be honest here...
it takes two.
So sit down and think about what just went down between the two of you.
Once you do that, you'll come to one of two conclusions.
Either you'll realize that the relationship had so many flaws that it couldn't be saved anyway, or if you really believe that there was something there, you'll do what needs to be done to make things right.
Depending upon how bad things ended will determine the course of action to take.
If you ended on speaking terms, it may not be hard to just call your ex for a chat.
If things ended ugly, you may need to take a different approach.
If you need more help on this subject, I've reviewed a great resource below.
I think it will help.
Relationships are tricky.
And they're not repaired overnight.
