- 1). Open your Internet browser and visit either the Pingtest, Speedtest or Bandwidthplace website.
- 2). Click on "Start test" or "Begin test." The website you have chosen will now test the speed of your Internet connection, which should take less than a minute.
- 3). Read the results. The website will now give you the results of the ping test, expressed in ms, or milliseconds. It will also display additional information about the results, such as how the speed of your Internet connection ranks compared to similar connections.
