- The Copperhead only works with Windows 2000 and newer, including the 64-bit versions of the operating systems. Although the mouse may operate as a simple USB device on other systems, you will not have access to the Copperheads advanced gaming features.
- In order to configure the mouse for gaming, you need the correct driver software installed. The software comes on the CD-ROM included with the mouse or as a download from Razer's website. Note that users of Windows 2000, XP and Vista require one version of the software, while users of Windows 7 need a different driver file.
- If the buttons on the Copperhead do not act as expected, the Razer software may have set them to an abnormal function. Open the Customizer software from the Start menu to change button function. The Copperhead supports keyboard button assignment in addition to more complex macros.
