- 1). Sweep all dust and dirt from the floor.
- 2). Spread oil soap on a section of floor with a wet mop. Run the buffer over the area of floor with oil soap. Polish each spot the same amount to create an even shine.
- 3). Spread oil soap on different sections, moving across the floor, and polish each section of the floor until you have buffed the entire floor.
