- 1). Align the bottom of the blade server to the right side of the system chassis. Looking directly at the front (where the hard drives are) of the blade, the hard drives will be at the top.
- 2). Push the blade server into the system chassis until the handles at the top and bottom of the blade server touch the chassis.
- 3). Close the handles. The handles rotate towards the front of the blade server. Raise the lower handle towards the front of the blade server, and lower the upper handle until it locks into place on top of the lower handle.
