- 1). Go to the Start menu on the bottom left of your desktop bar and click on the "Search" tab. If you run a Vista system, the search bar is located on the bottom left.
- 2). Type the keyword "Websense Enterprise" on the search bar. Find the setup.exe file (software installation file) that is associated with Websense Enterprise on the results list.
- 3). Click to launch the Websense program. If requested, type in your administrative password to open the Websense Manager window. Select the "Remove Some Components" option.
- 4). Select all components and then select the "Remove" option to uninstall all the Websense components.
- 5). Confirm the uninstalling process and follow all the instructions on the pop-up screen. When prompted, remove all Websense Reporting components.
- 6). Go to the Start menu and click on "Program Files." Select the "Programs and Features" option. Click on the "Uninstall a Program" tab and search for any files by the name of "Websense" or "Websense Enterprise." If you don't find any files under that name, the program has been successfully deleted; however, if there still is a file under "Websense," click on it and select the "Uninstall" option.
- 7). Follow the uninstall instructions and finish the uninstalling process.
