- 1). Attach the new UK keyboard to the Mac using the USB lead provided.
- 2). Open the Finder application from the "dock"--the icon on the left of the toolbar across the bottom or top of the screen.
- 3). Open the folder entitled "Applications."
- 4). Click "System Preferences."
- 5). Select "International" from the menu that appears.
- 6). Click "Input Menu" from the following window.
- 7). Scroll through the list and check the box next to the keyboard layout that corresponds to the new UK keyboard--it will be labeled "British."
- 8). Check the box entitled "Show input menu in menu bar." As a result, the flag of the current preferred keyboard (that of the country of purchase) appears in the menu bar.

Click the flag in the upper-right corner of the menu bar. - 11
Choose the new keyboard layout from the menu by selecting the UK flag.
