- 1). Right-click the area directly to the right of your "Start" button. Select "Properties" from the options menu that appears.
- 2). Click the "Start Menu" tab.
- 3). Click the button next to "Start Menu" if you wish to restore your Start Menu back to the look it had when you first purchased the computer. If you want to restore your Start Menu back to the "Classic" style of older editions of Windows, click the button next to "Classic Start menu."
- 4). Click "Apply" and then "OK."
- 5). Wait a minute and then click the "Start" button. Your Start Menu will now appear normal.
