- 1). Click "Start." Run "MSCONFIG" by typing its name into the box in the "Start" menu labeled "Search." Click on its program shortcut icon that appears to launch the program.
- 2). Click the "Startup" tab to view the list of programs that are currently loading during Windows startup.
- 3). Check a box next to a program if you want to have that program load during the Windows startup sequence. If you don't want a program to load during startup, clear the check box next to its listing. Click "Apply" to finish changing Windows startup.
