- 1). Cut a piece of thin-gauge jewelry wire to a length of approximately 24 inches for a medium-length necklace. You can cut the wire longer or shorter, but make sure it is long enough to go over your head plus an extra three inches.
- 2). Fold the wire in half to find the center point of the wire. Thread the jump ring of a pendant onto the wire and slide it into the center.
- 3). Grasp the ends of the wire together and slide two medium-size beads onto both ends of the wire. Slide the beads down the wires and press them firmly against the pendant.
- 4). Thread crystal seed beads onto the necklace until there is approximately 1 inch of wire left exposed at each end.
- 5). Tie the ends of the wire into a knot, pressed right up against the beads, and use a pair of needle-nose pliers to pull tightly on the two wire ends.
- 6). Cut the ends of the wire, leaving approximately ¼ inch of wire beyond the knot.
- 7). Grasp one of the ¼-inch ends with the needle-nose pliers and insert the end back into the hole in the last bead. Repeat this step with the other ¼-inch end to completely hide the wire ends.
