- 1). Open iTunes, click Help and check for updates to make sure you're running the latest version. If you haven't installed iTunes already, go to the Apple website and download it for free.
- 2). Connect your iPad to your computer using the included USB cable. If iTunes isn't already running, it will open automatically. Your iPad will be listed in the sidebar column on the left.
- 3). Click your device in the sidebar. Your iPad's settings will appear in the main iTunes window.
- 4). Click the Photos tab. Use the pull-down menu to select where you want to sync photos from on your computer. You can then choose to sync all photos or just specific photo directories. Click Apply to apply your changes. Sync your iPad to transfer photos from the computer to the iPad.
- 5). Edit your photos. You can edit the photos in any one of the many photo-editing apps available from the iTunes store. Once you've created the photo you want, sync your iPad again to transfer the new photo back to your computer.
