- 1). Power on the television and press the "Menu" button on the remote control. An options panel appears on the screen.
- 2). Select the "Picture" option, and a variety of different image options appears.
- 3). Select "Backlight" and use the left and right directional arrows to increase or decrease the level of the backlight. Adjust the backlight until the image has been corrected.
- 4). Press the "Menu" button to close out the picture options and begin watching the television programming.
