- 1). Turn the television off. Wait 30 to 40 minutes before proceeding. The bulb is very hot; you need to let it cool down.
- 2). Put on your gloves and access the rear of the television. Remove the four screws from the center panel with a T25 (5.91-inch) Torx screwdriver. Pull the panel off.
- 3). Remove the single T25 screw mounting the lamp assembly in place. Slide the lamp assembly out.
- 4). Insert the new lamp assembly. Line up the edge with the screw-mounting hole. Insert the T25 screw and tighten it.
- 5). Line up the rear-cover panel. Replace the four T25 screws.
