- 1). Insert the Windows Vista DVD that shipped with your computer into the computer. Restart the computer.
- 2). Press any key when prompted to boot from DVD.
- 3). Select your currency, language, and keyboard options from the drop down menus.
- 4). Click "Repair your computer."
- 5). Select the C drive and press "Next" to repair Vista.
