- 1). Take note of how many people you will need to feed each time you grill. Smaller grills cost less money, but are perfect for a family of four. If you have a small family, but grill for the neighborhood every time you cook, you will need a larger gas grill.
- 2). Check to make sure the gas grill is on wheels. It is very difficult to store your grill and take it out each time you want to cook on it if it isn't on wheels.
- 3). Look for cast iron grill bars. These are much more durable then some of the other types so you will get your money's worth out of them.
- 4). Look for a gas grill that is made out of stainless steal. It is easy to clean and will last a long time. It might cost a little extra, but you will find that it is worth every penny. To test whether a gas grill is truly made of stainless steel, bring a magnet. The magnet should not stick to the grill.
- 5). Look for a gas grill that has a drip tray. This will make life so much easier when it is time to clean up.
- 6). Measure your outdoor grill space. You don't want to purchase a gas grill that doesn't fit in the space you have available. Take your measurements with you to the store so you can measure the grill.
