What Phones Work With the Powermat?

    Apple Devices

    • Powermat makes a receiver that can be used to charge the iPhone 4 and a receiver that can charge both the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS. Powermat also retails a wireless dock that can be used with the iPhone and the iPod, iPod touch and the iPod nano, both playing music from the devices and charging them. In addition to Apple's phones, there is a Powermat model designed to charge the iPod touch.

    Blackbery Phones

    • There are Powermat receivers tailored to a host of Blackberry smartphones. Those receivers include those designed for the Blackberry Torch, the Blackberry Bold 9700 series, the Blackberry Curve 8500/9300 series, the Blackberry Tour and the Blackberry Bold 9650, the Blackberry Curve 8900, the Blackberry Curve 8300, the Blackberry Pearl and the Blackberry Bold 9000.

    Other Phones and Devices

    • In addition to smartphone models from Apple and Blackberry, Powermat offers receivers that are offered for the HTV EVO 4G, the Motorola Droid X and Droid X2 and the Samsung Galaxy S 4G/Vibrant. There also are Powermat receivers designed just for the Nintendi DSi and the Nintendo DS Lite.

    Universal Receiver

    • Powermat's Universal Powercube Receiver is designed to charge a multitude of devices. The universal receiver can charge more than 1,000 electronic devices, including a range of phones, according to the company's website. The receiver comes with a selection of tips, which connect the receiver to the phone, for different types of devices, including tips that will work with phones from Apple, Sony, Samsung, Motorola and LG. There are also mini and micro USB tips for devices that use those connections.
