- 1). Open WinSCP and enter your iPod's IP address into the log-in form. You can find your iPod's IP address by going to "Settings" and selecting "Wi-Fi." Select the blue circle next to your network's name to see the IP address.
- 2). Type "Root" for the user name and "Alpine" for the password in the log-in form that appears. Select "SCP" as the File Protocol in the pull-down menu, and select "Log in." Click "Yes" to confirm and show your iPod's file system.
- 3). Open the "Games" folder by double-clicking "Applications." Drag the file you want to transfer over to the "Games" folder on the iPod.
- 4). Right-click on the new game file, and select the "Properties" option. Type "0755" in the "Octal" box, and click "OK."
