How to Make Speakers for an iPod

    • 1). Take the pair of battery powered speakers and open the battery compartment and put in the batteries. Close the battery compartment.

      Place the portable battery powered speakers down on a table with the left and right speakers slightly apart.

    • 2). Connect the left and right speakers together by plugging in the male mini-plug to male mini-plug extension cable. Make sure that each plug is firmly seated in the female slot on the speaker.

    • 3). Plug in the long male mini-plug to male mini-plug extension cable to the audio out of the portable battery powered speakers. Plug in the other end of the long male mini-plug connection into to the audio out of the iPod dock.

    • 4). Turn on the power switch to the portable battery powered speakers.

      Insert the iPod into the iPod dock.

      Turn on the iPod. Navigate through the iPod menus using the remote control to pick a song to play. Play the song. Adjust the volume using the remote control.

    • 5). Turn off the iPod and portable battery powered speakers when done. Remove the extension cable from the two portable battery powered speakers and put them away. Remove the extension cable from the audio out of the portable battery powered speakers and put it away. Take the iPod out of the iPod dock. Put the iPod dock away. Turn off the iPod and put the iPod away.
