- 1). Click on the "Start" button, in the lower-left corner of your desktop, to open your Start menu.
- 2). Click "Run" and type "dxdiag" without the quotation marks, into the text box and click "OK." A window appears.
- 3). Click on the "Display" tab. Your video card's information is listed in the tab. The "Name", "Manufacturer" and "Chip Type" all refer to your video card.
