  Click on the "Start" button or Windows logo, then click "Control Panel". If the Control Panel is not available from this menu, follow this path from the "Start" button: "Programs" > "Accessories" > "Control Panel".

  Locate "Hardware and Sound" on this screen, then click "View devices and printers". Highlight the printer to be shared (ensuring the printer is currently plugged in to the PC). Right-click and choose "Printer Properties".
  
  
• 3). Select the "Sharing" tab. Check the box "Share this printer". If desired, change the name of the printer to a friendly, and easy to remember, name. Click "Apply", then "OK".
