- 1). Format your SD card, if necessary, by inserting it into your cell phone and locating the card's "File Manager," or an equivalent folder, in your "Settings" or "Tools" options. You should find the option to format your card in the options subcategory.
- 2). Insert your SD card into its adapter and plug it into your computer. Your computer should read the new device automatically, and a pop-up window will appear. Choose the "Open Folder to View Files Using Windows Explorer" option. If it doesn't read your SD, locate and double-click the "Removable Storage Device" icon in "My Computer."
- 3). Open your music folder on your PC and locate the desired ringtone. Drag and drop the files into the appropriate folder and wait for them to complete transferring.
