Plastic Bathtubs

• 1). Clean the bathtub with a sponge, soap and water. Dry the bathtub with a towel.
  
  
• 2). Apply epoxy to the crack until it is completely covered.
  
  
• 3). Allow the epoxy to dry before using the bathtub again.
  
  

Fiberglass Bathtubs

• 1). Clean the damaged area of any debris.
  
  
• 2). Use a Dremel tool or a sandpaper file or sheet to sand the cracked area until it's smooth again.
  
  
• 3). Clean the cracked area a second time.
  
  
• 4). Cover the sanded area with fiberglass paint.
  
  
• 5). Cover the sanded area with fiberglass paint, which stores sell separately or as part of fiberglass repair kits.
