- 1). Select an area on your counter top to display your cookbooks. Choose an area against the wall, toward the back of your counter. This space is not often used for cooking, so the cookbooks won't be in the way. Choose an area away from the stove so that you don't have to worry about the cookbooks catching fire or becoming soiled.
- 2). Stand the cookbooks up so that their bindings are visible and you can easily see their titles and choose the one that you want.
- 3). Place bookends on either end of the collection of cookbooks so that they will easily stand up. Select bookends that will complement your kitchen, such as bookends that are shaped like fruits or vegetables.
