- 1). Connect the DVD player to the television. Connect one end of the audio-visual cables to the audio-video output jacks on the DVD player. Connect the other end of the cables to the audio-video input jacks on the VCR.
- 2). Place the DVD into the DVD player's tray and insert a blank VHS tape into the VCR.
- 3). Turn the television to the channel on which you play DVDs. Press "Record" on the VCR and immediately press "Play" on the DVD menu. Wait for the movie to finish and press "Stop" on the VCR and DVD player.
