How to Select a Missing Printer in XP

1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select the "Control Panel."
2). Click the "Add Printer" option to start the wizard. Click the "Next" button when the Add Printer wizard starts.
3). Click the "Printer Connection" option and click "Next."
4). Click the "Browse for a Printer" button and click the "Next" button. The Shared Printers list opens. Locate the missing printer from the list of all printers.
5). Click the missing printer's entry and click "Next."
6). Follow any additional on-screen instructions for completing the printer setup. For example, a driver may be downloaded to your computer for the printer. Once complete, click "Finish." The missing printer is now set up in Windows XP.
