- 1). Insert the "NBA 2K12" disc into your video game console, and launch the game. Press the "Start" button at the first menu that appears to start the My2K registration process.
- 2). Enter your date of birth in the spaces provided, and press the "Start" button to continue. Read through the terms and conditions of use and privacy policy, and select the "I Agree" option to agree with the terms.
- 3). Enter your My2K account name in the space provided. Select your favorite team, type your email address in the spaces provided and enter a password for your My2K account. Press the "Start" button to continue.
- 4). Press the "Start" button to advance past the My2K Social page. Press the "Triangle" button on the "My2K Player" page to customize your player. Adjust the player's height, weight, skin tone, muscle tone, eye color, hair style, hair color, facial hair type, head style and facial hair color to your liking. Press the "Start" button, and select the "Yes" option to save the player.
- 5). Open the email that was sent to your email address, and click the verification link inside.
- 6). Reset your game console, and relaunch "NBA 2K12."
- 7). Press the "Start" button on the first menu that appears to log in to your My2K account. Once logged in, you will connect to the NBA 2K Sports Server. Select the "Online" option from the game's main menu to begin playing online.
